Family comes first and Mark lives by that mantra. It’s one of the key reasons he and his wife Tanya decided to make Alberta their home. The people, lifestyle and energy are infectious. The Kamachis raised their daughters in Bragg Creek over the past 23 years (along with several furry side-kicks). They’ve given to, and grown with the community as residents and local entrepreneurs, and have made many wonderful friends along the way.

Mark currently sits on the Wintergreen Golf Society board, the Foothills Fibre Cooperative board, and is a member of the FireSmart Committee. He volunteers in numerous local initiatives – Taste of Bragg Creek, Clean up the Creek, Hockey for Horizon, among others. He has been a cast member of the local community theatre troupe Swamp Donkey Musical Theatre (Oklahoma!, Nuncrackers, The Hello Girls), as well as co-founder of AdMaki Creative based in Bragg Creek.

Mark taught for over ten years at AUArts and has an extensive 35+ years in the marketing industry revolving around strategic and creative problem solving for a variety of clients.

He is a golfer, actor, musician, artist, and fitness and healthspan junkie, recently completing the GranFondo Whistler with family and friends.
